The fact of the matter is, small passenger vehicles, like the Camry, sold 5 million units in 2019. In our current sedan rankings, the Kia K5, Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata all scored higher in our evaluations. And despite some sporty styling, most Camrys - the exception being the TRD model - aren't all that engaging to drive. The Camry's four-cylinder engine, however, is a bit underwhelming. All-wheel drive is an option that most midsize sedans don't offer, so that's a big draw if you frequently drive on wet or icy roads. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available with the four-cylinder engine. It offers two engines: a four-cylinder or an optional V6. The Camry was redesigned in 2018 and touched up with a few cosmetic changes last year.
